COP28: Co-Designing the Future of Climate Education – A Global Forum

The forum aims to demonstrate the critical importance of investing in youth to achieve sustainability and industry goals through youth engagement

Join Diplomatic Courier, the Smithsonian Science Education Center, and EY in the Storytelling for Action Pavilion for a special forum on Youth Day at COP 28 meetings in Dubai.

The forum aims to demonstrate the critical importance of investing in youth to achieve sustainability and industry goals through youth engagement; illustrate how industry and education partnerships can work together to provide new skills sets required to reach a net-zero future; and invite stakeholders from the public, private, and social sectors to work in collaboration with the Smithsonian to advance the SDGs through the Smithsonian Science for Global Goals project.

Please note: accreditation for the Blue Zone is required to access this event.

Showcase Leadership & Projects

The Forum provides a platform for speakers and delegates to highlight their leadership skills and projects that are advancing Climate Education.

Global Exposure & Positioning

Delegates get the opportunity to present their work to leaders in the UN global community, positioning themselves as influential leaders to a high-level audience.

Networking & Opportunities

The Forum facilitates exposure to other projects, potential partners, and opportunities, fostering a vibrant and collaborative environment.

How can industry partner with educational organizations and young leaders to pave the way for a more sustainable future?

In this high-level, intimate, and interactive forum, we will examine results from two major global surveys measuring perspectives from both educators and students on Sustainable Development and Climate Education. Together, the speakers and delegates will delve into the underlying data behind teacher and student responses, recognizing challenges, and identifying solutions, while exploring opportunities for industry impact.
