On its 20th anniversary, Diplomatic Courier looks forward.
On the night before the UN General Debate opens, Diplomatic Courier marks twenty years of exploring what’s next with the launch of a new publication distilling two decades of signals into what is arriving in the second and third horizons.
That forward-looking focus carries into the Diplomatic Soirée, an invitation-only reception and dinner closing Day One of our UNGA 81 Dialogues, bringing together Diplomatic Courier’s closest partners and stakeholders for an evening of reflection, connection, and celebration. The Soirée also hosts the second edition of The Envoys awards programme, where former Greek Prime Minister and Symi Symposium Founder George Papandreou will be recognized for his bridge-building diplomacy. The award will be presented by inaugural Envoys honoree Dante Disparte.

Part of a Larger Architecture
The Diplomatic Soirée and Everyone’s Business carry the twenty-year arc forward. The Soirée concludes Diplomatic Courier’s anniversary year celebrations and marks the beginning of work that will define its third decade. Throughout UNGA week, the Soirée venue will be known as Signals House, home to Diplomatic Courier’s private UNGA 81 Dialogues. These include Signal Salons and other convenings exploring the Future of Education, Health, Philanthropy, and Diplomacy. Each Salon will produce a Statement of Signals capturing the key ideas emerging from that discussion. Together, these statements will inform a series of published Signal Briefs with insights to be shared at Davos 2027.
Twenty years of helping the future arrive well and celebrated in the most fitting way: by launching the next twenty.
