The U.S. will host this year’s G20 Leaders’ Summit in Miami, Florida. There is already controversy months ahead of the gathering. Washington has made controversial changes to the agenda and to who is invited — Russian President Vladimir Putin has been invited, while previous G20 host South Africa has been disinvited. Climate, debt, and development have been removed from the agenda, which will now focus on deregulation, energy security, and accelerating technological innovation.
